CAD DRAFTER / ELECTRICAL DESIGNER

Position available for self-motivated, energetic individual(s) with Revit 2011 and/or AutoCAD 2011 experience. Responsibilities include designing / drafting building electrical systems such as lighting, power distribution, communications, life safety and controls. Applicants should have minimum AAS degree in drafting-related field or equivalent work experience. Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office products is also required. Individuals in this position will assist in the development of electrical construction documents for various building projects. Previous electrical design experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities will be to transform initial project concepts into construction documents including detailed drawings and specifications to meet all applicable codes and standards. Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks and projects with a positive attitude. Applicants should have a BSEE with a minimum of 2 years experience or equivalent work experience in building design, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communications.
